Volunteer at Midewin national Tallgrass Prairie

Volunteers are recognized as a strong part of the culture at Midewin and help staff accomplish ambitious goals. Midewin attracts individuals and groups with a variety of backgrounds and interests. Some volunteers join us a couple times a year and others are here weekly. Volunteers offer a wide range of skills and are also motivated by learning new ones. It may be a good idea to try a few projects or programs until you feel that perfect fit.
